Campus mail is coordinated by the Mail Services office.

Residential students are assigned a mailbox in Mail Services, Diana LL103 (please see below for how to find your mailing address).
Columbia students living at Barnard as part of the Housing Exchange would need to receive their mail through their mailbox at the Columbia Mail Center.

New Students: If your mailbox number & address is not visible at the Slate for Students link above, it has not yet been uploaded by Mail Services. The information should be posted shortly before the start of the semester. If you have questions, please visit Mail Services. The Res Life office does not have access to students' mailbox numbers or addresses.
If you are moving in earlier than other students for a pre-Orientation program and have not received your mailbox address yet, you may temporarily use the address below to send packages and then use your mailbox address once it is available (see above).

The Student Mail Room will accept mail & packages for students up to 5 days before their scheduled move-in date.
If you're sending packages before moving in, please ask the shipper to hold delivery until that time.

If you are a continuing student who will be living on campus (or in the city) over the summer, please contact Mail Services (mailservices@hhvp.net) to request to keep your mailbox open to receive mail/packages over the summer.
No. Mail and/or packages addressed to residence hall rooms will not be accepted (see exception below for packages only at Cathedral Gardens).
Residents of Cathedral Gardens only may receive packages at their building (but not regular mail, which should be addressed to their Altschul Mail Box). The address format is:

Note: packages may not arrive to the building earlier than the day before their scheduled move-in date. Students should ask UPS or FedEx to delay the delivery of their package to the specific date.
Delivery of alcohol to individual students (regardless of age) or student groups at Barnard is prohibited.
This includes, but is not limited to, the commercial delivery of alcohol to College residence halls or the delivery of alcohol to any student campus mail address.
